Supporting Our Firefighters and Community Safety in South Edmonton

Today, it was so great to visit our city’s Fire Station #28 Open House at Heritage Valley Town Centre in our ward. Thank you Edmonton Fire for your great work to keep our city safe. As our Edmontonians and firefighters‘ lives are so important, I did not support the “Single egress” bylaw change.
As City Councillor in the South Edmonton area, I have been advocating for sufficient fire rescue service for surrounding neighbourhoods. I am pleased that the 32 Ave SW station was opened in a timely manner to support the new high school opening plus providing faster access to Chappelle.
