Thank You for the Opportunity to Serve You
Thank you to our ward residents for the opportunity to serve you. I am proud of what we achieved together over the past four years: FIVE major roads projects were approved and are in progress to improve South Edmonton roadway infrastructure: ✅ 41 Ave Widening is already underway: it was approved under Bylaw 21285 (Allard to west of QE 2), fully developer-funded to reduce congestion toward QE2 on 41 Ave SW. ✅ 41 Ave Reconstruction (Chappelle Way SW→ 170 Street). Jennifer Addressing Construction Impacts
Construction on the LRT has been frustrating for all of us. I know — I live here too, and I drive this commute every single day. I’ve been working hard to reduce the impact, fight for safer roads, and push for real solutions. https://www.instagram.com/jenniferriceyeg/ ✅ Monthly meetings with the LRT Project Team to keep residents’ concerns front and center ✅ Fought to maintain two lanes each way on 111 Street to ease congestion ✅ Requested repaving and repainting at 111 St. &

41 Ave SW Widening Project Update - Part #1
I am pleased to announce that the first item of the 41 Avenue Widening project has been approved by the Council, with full funding from the developer. The scope of this part #1 project is to add the second eastbound lane of 41 Avenue SW from Allard Rd SW to west of QE2. For the entire 41st Avenue SW roadway improvement, this is a continuing action that I have consistently pushed for, after hearing daily frustrations from our commuters. Real relief for drivers, thanks to comm

Why I Serve?
Why I Serve? - Giving Back to the Community! Edmonton is my home and I use every day to fight for the people who’ve felt overlooked, like once I did. They told me I’d never lead here. That my culture and background are too different. But I didn’t settle. ✅ Started over, worked hard, and never stopped showing up to support people and communities. ✅Fought to have more amenities for our residents to enjoy better quality of life. ✅ Fought to keep taxes down because I know fami

Standing With Residents: Pushing for Smarter Infill Development
Two weeks later, today I continued to fight hard for the reduction of units in mid-block inside neighbourhoods under the RS (Small Scale Zone) zone from 8 to 4 units of infill development. I did not vote for a change from 8 to 6 units, because many of you spoke loudly that the maximum number of permitted dwellings in the RS zone on interior lots needs to be changed from 8 to 4 units. On June 30, item# 3.32 on the Council Public Hearing agenda is an opportunity to share your t
