Spring Check-In: How Snow & Ice Control Performed

Spring is here, snow is melting. As usual every year, I visit neighbourhoods, talk to our residents, and listen to feedback about how our city’s Snow Removal and Ice Control services are performing.
This year from February 18, the City started clearing snow in Cul-de-sacs. I heard that residents really appreciated this year’s work as the snow piles are lower, thus having better visibility. A remaining concern is water drainage insufficiency that can cause water pooling or ice on roads and/or in front of driveways. Residents provided some suggestions that I am happy to pass along to our city’s administration to support our city’s snow removal and ice control services continue improvement.
