Protecting and Enhancing Dog Park for Our Community

Caring for our city’s Green Spaces is always in my heart. As many of you may still remember, back to 2022, I hosted a great turn-out twonnhall engagement. Community members and I worked together, cancelled the city’s action of fencing our Big Bear Park off-leash dog park in Bearspaw/Keheenwin neighbourhood. After that, I often hear how happy our ward residents enjoy this open, community-friendly and beautiful dog park. This is a great privilege as your city councillor, can fight for you and stand up for you to ensure we have beautiful green places for ourselves and our loved pets.
In 2025, by listening to you, our city is planting trees around this park. I was driving by on Wednesday, so great to see this work is in a good progress.
