[DONE] Weeds: An Ignored Problem

The issue of weeds in Ward Ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi

During my door-to-door canvassing, I've heard numerous complaints about the City's lack of responsibility for uncontrolled weeds in our community. Despite it being a common issue, residents of our Ward see little to no effort from the City to address this issue.

Negative Impacts of Weeds:

• Ruin the appearance of our beautiful green spaces

• Cause allergies

• Prevent natural resources from reaching our desired plants

My plan:

• Encourage city-sponsored solutions to combat the weeds in our community

• Re-introduce/Re-visit the deadline treatment to ensure our green spaces are protected, maintained, and kept clean

These concerns all come from YOU and from my experience through daily community interactions. As your ward representative, I will be sure to voice this, and all other concerns, to the City Council.
