41 Ave SW Widening Project Update - Part #1

I am pleased to announce that the first item of the 41 Avenue Widening project has been approved by the Council, with full funding from the developer. The scope of this part #1 project is to add the second eastbound lane of 41 Avenue SW from Allard Rd SW to west of QE2. For the entire 41st Avenue SW roadway improvement, this is a continuing action that I have consistently pushed for, after hearing daily frustrations from our commuters.

In my Spring 2025 Neighbourhood Update that was sent to you, I provided the progress of two projects on 41 Ave SW, so happy right now, we saw the real results of my action. In addition, for the project of reconstruction of 41 Ave SW from Chappelle Way SW to 170 Street, I heard many of you provided positive feedback on this project, which was completed on schedule.

I will continue to push for projects to improve roadway infrastructure. With my strength and real experience in Infrastructure, we can achieve the goal to meet the needs of our southern communities.
