Violence prevention in Edmonton

I was pleased to support a wonderful citizen Sarah by donating to help create care packages for women and children fleeing domestic violence.

Sarah has done community work for the past 5 years with the focus of 2023 being on putting together care packages for victims of domestic violence. Her passion to help our Edmontonians and community is highly appreciated.

On August 28, the Council's Community and Public Services Committee passed a motion to develop our city’s action plan for Violence Prevention in the hopes to lower the rate of domestic violence in our city. Working together, we can support these Edmontonians who need help and prevent these situations from happening again.
