I Support Open Space Amenities in Developing Neighbourhoods!

Infrastructure improvement and caring for green spaces is important to me as your Councillor. As many neighbourhoods in Ward Ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi are still in development, I hear the importance of developing public green spaces/parks for its residents. On July 11, 2023, I brought a motion to improve park amenities in our city’s community green spaces and received unanimous support from the council committee.

Today, the Urban Planning Committee is discussing the 300 park sites that are undeveloped and unfunded, the majority of which are in the developing area, which is item 7.5.
