Traffic Lanes Update on 9 Ave/12Ave at 111 Street:

Many of you asked me regarding the delayed schedule on the EPCOR water main reallocation construction completion schedule for 9 Ave/12 Ave at 111 street. Last week, again I voiced your concerns and requested the LRT project team to follow up with the EPCOR. Today, I am so glad to see the most work was done, at 111 Street between 9 Ave and 12 Ave, the roads reopen to two lans including 9 Avenue is reopening to the normal way now.

Some finalization work will also be needed in early January at 9 Ave and area near 12 Ave as well, which might be for another five weeks.

Thank you to our neighbours and community for being patient for these traffic impacts. I will continue to work with the LRT project team to make sure the construction impacts for the traffic be minimized.
