Hi, my friends and Edmontonians, is here and snow is melting. Enjoy our beautiful weekend!

Some helpful tips for navigating potholes while driving:

● Leave lots of space between the next car in traffic & your vehicle so you have ample time to notice any potential potholes that may be coming up

● Try and slow down as much as possible if contact with a pothole is inevitable. Let off the brakes the moment before you hit the pothole allowing your car to absorb the blow. *

● Hold the steering wheel tightly. Hitting a pothole with a loose grip can cause you to lose control of your vehicle. *

● Always maintain the proper air pressure in your tires. *

● When safe to do so, signal and veer out of the lane with the pothole, and then return to your lane safely after passing the pothole.

Stay safe out there and remember to report potholes to 311!
