The supplemental capital budget adjustment (SCBA) is an integral component of the City Council approved multi-year approach for the 2023-2026 Capital Budget. Starting November 13, 2024, Council will discuss these adjustments for the 2023-2026 City's Capital Budget.

As you can see attached here, the total adjusted Tax-Supported Budget will be $10,678 million compared to the approved 2023-2026 Capital budget of $10,078 million, which is a $600 million increase. Among these budget increases, some will support the new and amended projects/profiles, some may support scope change increases requesting new funding, and others. I heard many of you say that our city should not start new infrastructure projects until complete the existing projects, also managing contracts more efficiently and effectively by holding the contractors accountable. In addition, keep transparency and accountability in our city's procurement process; I understand you want to see our city be built as a great place for all of us, I have the same goal as yours.
