Good evening all residents in Ward Ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi:
The City of Edmonton is moving forward with Phase 1 of the Capital Line South LRT extension from Century Park station to Heritage Valley Park & Ride at Ellerslie Road. Early construction work on this $1 billion project is beginning the week of April 4 with hydrovacing near 111 Street and 23 Avenue intersection.
You can expect to receive an information card (see pictures) in the mail sometime between April 8 and April 15, and this card will recap high-level project details. In addition, you can visit the city’s project website (edmonton.ca/capitalsw) to sign up for ongoing email updates.
