Monthly public safety updates from the City of Edmonton, EPS and ETS presented to Council on August 22nd.
There has been a decrease in perceived safety from riders, while there has been an increase in weapons incidents since July 2022. The drug incidents are consistent as 48% as last year.
To address the concerns from the public, the city and EPS is leading a focused response to reduce drug-related behaviours in our public transit system.
