Meeting with the Fire Chief

On March 6th I had the opportunity to visit one of our City’s Fire Stations to meet with the Fire Chief and some wonderful frontline firefighters. I was able to learn more about the crucial work that our firefighters do to keep our community safe.

We discussed the two fire stations in our Ward ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi - station #20 and #28. These stations serve over 90,000 residents in our ward. As the community continues to grow, so will the need for fire stations to serve residents. I am so grateful to the entire Edmonton Fire Service across all 31 fire stations for their selfless work.
