Johnny Bright Safety Improvements

Community Safety is one of my focuses, particularly our children's safety in school areas.

I am happy to share with you that our city will install eight traffic safety measures at Johnny Bright School. Installation is expected to start in mid-August and complete before the start of the school year, weather and resource permitting.

Residents should expect to see 8 adaptable curb extensions: two will be added on 15 Avenue SW and Rutherford Road SW, four will be added on 15 Avenue SW at the shared use path, and two on Rutherford Road SW at the shared use path.
