Federal Grant for Edmonton Ski Club

Great news for our city!

Edmonton Ski Club @edmontonskiclub received a federal grant of $6.6 million under the" Green and Inclusive Community" program for the New Lodge Project, which will create an all-seasons hub for recreational and cultural activities in our river valley and support year-around activities including our city’s festivals such as @yegcanoevolant and @edmfolkfest. It was great to be at Edmonton Ski Club today in our city's beautiful river valley and share this exciting news with our Edmontonians on behalf of Edmonton City Council and Mayor Sohi @amarjeet_sohi. Thank you, Minister @r_boissonnault for today’s announcement.

Edmonton river valley is Canada’s largest urban park and a natural wonder for all Edmontonians and visitors to our city to enjoy. Thanks to Edmonton Ski Club's continual efforts toward funding and building a destination ski resort in Edmonton’s central river valley. The club's programs and services also support our city's newcomers and indigenous groups @isca_official_ , which contributes to the city’s diversity and inclusion, and improves quality of the life for Edmontonians.
