Construction Update on 23 Ave and 111 St

Hello Ward Ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi,

Beginning on August 7, 2023, will begin 24/7 excavation work at the 23 Avenue and 111 Street intersection. The contractor has obtained an extension to their overnight noise permit that allows crews to continue working 24-hours per day, if required, until October 2023.Working overnight helps to minimize daytime traffic impacts to the area. Ongoing construction at this intersection will continue into 2024.

Crews will be excavating areas to construct a drainage lift station and site shafts will be built at the northeast and southwest corners of the intersection. Additionally, access to ETS bus stops near this intersection will be maintained.
