City’s Mask Mandate Update

Over the last few days, my office has received a great number of inquiries about the city’s mask mandate. The overwhelming majority have been opposed to the City of Edmonton upholding the mandate. Council will be holding a special council meeting at 1:30pm on March 8 to discuss the mask bylaw. I will take your inquires into consideration when the City Council reviews this matter.

Also, prior to the March 8 Council meeting, you can fill out the City of Edmonton masking bylaw survey at the Edmonton Insight Community. The survey runs until March 7 and the results of the survey will be used to inform Council in our review of the mask bylaw on March 8.
