2022 property tax notices should be arriving in your mailboxes and with that may come some questions! I’m happy to say I fought hard to ensure our municipal tax rate increase was minimal and achieved just that, with the rate being 1.9% for 2022, the lowest of all the major cities in Canada. Fiscal responsibility is something important to me and is something I will continue to champion for.
