Woman Advocacy Voice of Edmonton

On Wednesday February 9th I was proud to meet the dedicated women who comprise the Woman Advocacy Voice of Edmonton (WAVE). I was able to voice my complete support for the organization and offered to champion their causes. The first issue on their agenda for this year is creating a safe environment for women hiring vehicles. This is a very important issue that I will work very hard to get Council’s support on. Whether it’s an Uber ride to work or a taxi ride home after a night out, women need to know they are safe and the City must do what they can to ensure this safety.
I look forward to addressing many such issues with WAVE while I am your Councillor. Please take the time to view the great work WAVE is doing in Edmonton.
