Shine a Light on Antisemitism

Today I was so honoured to attend Shine a Light on Antisemitism at the Westridge Community League to show my support for an inclusive society and paint a tile to symbolize the event. As there is no place in our society for any form of racism, I painted candles with the word HOPE in green, the colour of growth, to symbolize the need to cultivate a culture of understanding and acceptance of all people.

Mayor Sohi and I also joined several Jewish youth in a round table discussion where they shared their thoughts about racism and antisemitism.
