Senior Matinee Hour

Since I began working as your councillor Ward Ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi, taking care of Edmonton’s seniors has been a big part of my focus. I brought forward a motion in December 2022 to address the needs of seniors who want to use our recreation centres and I am excited to share some good news.

Starting September 5, those over the age of 65 will be able to access recreation facilities for $3.50 during 11:30am to 1:00pm. This includes all fitness centres, swimming pools and gymnasiums.

I hope to see everyone staying active, healthy, and taking advantage of the Senior Matinee Hour.
