National Tree Day in Cavanagh

Hello friends and neighbours in Cavanagh community, l am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! September 20, 2023 is National Tree Day and the Root for Trees program will be planting 1,000 trees. These trees are in support of the City’s goal of planting 2 million trees.
Join myself and Mayor Sohi as we celebrate this milestone, connect with nature, and learn about Edmonton’s urban canopy. I look forward to seeing the 200 volunteers and the hard work they will put in to plant these important trees.

Time: 4:00-6:30pm
Location: Cavanagh Walking Trail, near Cavanagh Drive SW.
