ASSIST Taste of Heritage Festival

Today, it's wonderful to see so many people coming together to celebrate the ASSIST Taste of Heritage Festival and share each other's cultures. Over the years, our city has welcomed hundreds of thousands of immigrants with open arms. As a result, Edmonton is now home to more than 70 unique ethnic groups. And our region's population is made up of 23 percent first-generation newcomers.
